We're excited to share some major releases with lots of improvements and customer requests

April 4th 2023 Product Updates

User Communication Updates

  • Announcements can now target all users, teams, or individual users.
  • User Directory and Chat features are now available to everyone on the jobsite, so it's easier to get in touch. Now you can call, text, or chat with any user by simply clicking their name -- wherever it appears in a workflow.
  • You'll also see minor improvements on the Admin User Directory when multi-selecting and inviting groups of users.
  • The "Forgot Password" page now pre-populates with the user's email, if cached.

    Deliveries

    • Now it's easier to see what's happening on crowded calendars. Highlight specific deliveries by hovering your mouse over a Delivery Card on the Calendar view. More improvements to come!
    • April at Royal Columbian requested a rule to ensure users can't delete or change a delivery within a delivery booking deadline. Deliveries can still cancel (with reason) or re-book, but we hope this will help minimize last minute deletions and changes.
    • You can now add more than one piece of offloading equipment to a delivery booking.
    • Recurring deliveries are now marked in the Form, Log, and Calendar.
    • Anticipated weather is now shown (if known) when creating a Delivery.
    • Users now get notified if a Delivery is canceled, deleted, or changed.
    • For Kenny at Princeton University we added an optional field in the Delivery Form to track delivery vehicles model and license numbers.
    • Thanks to Ben for helping us catch that the LBS ordering was wrong when viewing levels with double digit floors in the Delivery List view!

    Permits

Stay tuned for major updates coming soon for the Permits Configurator. Recent releases to Permits include:

    • You can now print a Permit from the individual permit or print a Permit Report from the Permit List page -- thanks to Marcela at UCSF for this product idea.
    • Permit Reports now include a scannable QR code that takes users directly to the Permit.
    • You can now add additional contacts to Permits.

    Maps

Get excited for some major releases to Maps in the beginning of May, but here's what you can start using right now:

    • Crane Swing Radius can now be specified by feet or meters, and the arc by degrees.

    What's on the Roadmap

Integrations: Builds are lined up like planes waiting to land

    • Next up is fully configurable Forms and Permits, so that you can create any Workflow you need, configured to your jobsite.
    • Look for a major update to Maps, allowing you to better configure map 'views' with multiple plans. You'll also be able to drag map pins, so locations are more accurate to where the work is actually happening.
    • Additionally, we are working on user-level QR codes that allow your team to check in and out of the site or track hours and badges (like parking permissions). Lots more on this topic later.

That's a wrap! We'd love to hear how your project is going and how we can help you build on your next one.
